Who We Are
The Three Sisters Foundation is a private, family foundation committed to building brighter futures for children and families in our community. Rooted in compassion and inspired by the enduring strength of the Three Sisters, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and every family deserves the support they need to succeed.
Our work centers on four core focus areas — Family Support, Children’s Health & Joy, Inclusive Education & Therapy, and Access to Sport & Play. Through these pillars, we help create environments where children are cared for, families are uplifted, and communities are strengthened.
As a granting foundation, we provide support exclusively to registered Canadian charities, with a primary focus on organizations serving the Calgary region. We look to partner with charities whose programs deliver meaningful, lasting impact — particularly those in need of additional fundraising to bring specific projects to life or to help meet their annual budget goals.

Family Support
Families should never have to choose between meeting basic needs and building brighter futures. We fund programs that provide essential goods, emergency assistance, and crisis support — ensuring that parents and caregivers can focus on raising resilient children without the stress of unmet necessities.
Children’s Health & Joy
Illness can take away a child’s sense of normalcy. We support initiatives that bring comfort, play, and happiness to children facing medical challenges. Whether through hospital-based programming, distraction therapy, or simple moments of joy, we believe every child deserves a chance to smile — even on their hardest days.
Inclusive Education & Therapy
Every child has unique strengths and challenges. We support programs that make education and therapy accessible for children with disabilities, ensuring they can learn, grow, and thrive in supportive environments. Through early intervention, specialized therapies, and inclusive classrooms, we help unlock potential for every child.
Access to Sport & Play
Sport builds confidence, teamwork, and belonging — yet too many children are left out due to financial barriers. We believe every child should have the chance to play. By funding grants for registration fees, equipment, and programming, we ensure that kids can join teams, learn new skills, and develop lifelong friendships.
