Application Guidelines

The Three Sisters Foundation is committed to supporting families, children, and communities through grants that align with our core focus areas:

  • Family Support

  • Children’s Health & Joy

  • Inclusive Education & Therapy

  • Access to Sport & Play

We encourage applications from organizations that share our vision of empowering families, supporting children, and building brighter futures.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for funding, applicants must:

  • Be a registered charitable organization as identified by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

  • Deliver programs or services that directly align with at least one of our focus areas.

  • Operate primarily within the Calgary region, unless otherwise determined by the Foundation.

  • Demonstrate accountability, transparency, and the ability to measure impact.

What We Look For

When reviewing applications, the Foundation gives priority to programs that:

  • Address a significant community need within one or more focus areas.

  • Demonstrate collaboration and partnership with other organizations.

  • Provide direct benefit to families and children, with a clear path to measurable outcomes.

  • Show a commitment to sustainability and long-term impact.

Application Process

Review Our Focus Areas & Eligibility

Make sure your program aligns with at least one of our core focus areas and meets our eligibility requirements.

Prepare Your Application

    • A description of your organization and charitable registration number.

    • Program summary, including objectives, target audience, and timeline.

    • A detailed budget, including how requested funds will be allocated.

    • Evidence of collaboration with other organizations (if applicable).

    • Expected outcomes and how you plan to measure impact.   

Submit Your Application

Applications can be submitted by completing the application form below.

Review & Decision

Applications are reviewed by the Foundation. Decisions are based on alignment with our focus areas, demonstrated community need, and potential for meaningful impact.

Important Information

  • Applications are not subject to explicit deadlines, and are reviewed on an ongoing basis.

  • Only successful applicants will be contacted directly.

  • If your organization is not selected, you are welcome to reapply in the future.
